Did You Know? Avocados are native to Mexico and have been cultivated for thousands of years. They're often referred to as "nature's butter" due to their creamy texture and rich taste. In fact, the word "avocado" comes from the Nahuatl word "ahuacatl," which means "testicle," a nod to the fruit's shape.
